Sometimes hot cocoa just isn’t enough to keep you warm in the snow…
Eloise is too busy juggling the chaos of three kids, an ever present ex-husband and a demanding boss to even remember the last time dating crossed her mind. But as soft snow falls silently all around, romance twinkles with the flakes. After being single for so long, Eloise suddenly has a lot of choices. Too many choices.
Will anyone be worthy of melting the guard around her heart to let love in?

Sparkling Festive Fun!
Having read the second in this series some time ago for a blog tour, I promised myself that I would make sure to go back and read the first – and that day finally arrived!
Eloise, like most working mothers, is constantly juggling things; her soon-to-be ex-husband is around as much as ever but that doesn’t always help. With three kids to get to different schools and nursery each morning and a clock watching boss, a bit of romance in her life wouldn’t go amiss – but when would she fit it in? A sudden unexpected snowfall doesn’t make life any easier, but it does turn her thoughts to dating . . .
I LOVED the second book in this series, but it’s some time since I read it so I can see it being added to my list to re-read before this festive season. This one has filled me with Christmas cheer – so much so that I’ve been writing lists of gift ideas for this year! I’ve read a few other novel by Berni Maycock and always find myself giggling and desperately trying to do so silently so as not to disturb my sleeping husband; like many others, I never go to sleep without reading. This is a fabulous, fun read and one I highly recommend – trust me, it will give you a fondness for snow, families and all things Christmassy! Beautifully written, and easily worth all five sparkling stars!
I purchased the ebook format of this book; this is – as always – my honest, original and unbiased review.

Author Details
My start: Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl and the entire contents of our local library, then Sweet Valley High, Point Horror, Babysitters Club and The Saddle Club before drifting into adulthood where I found Jenny Colgan, Marian Keyes, Patricia Cornwall, Stephen King and John Grisham.
I am now an absolute chick lit, rom com, and thriller addict and former book blogger (you might know me from B R Maycock’s book blog).
My goal is always to give someone something they can settle down with for a bit of escapism and a laugh with small town series, ‘mom lit’ books and sparkly standalones.
Then there’s the official line…
B. R. Maycock (Berni to all you lovely people!) writes romantic comedies that are warm, sparkly and fun. She can be found in Co. Westmeath, Ireland with her brilliantly out there husband, Keith, their four epic little men, and four cats She has one goal and that’s simply to make readers smile and/ or laugh (a splutter rates highest;)).
