A Gorgeous, Feel-Good Read!

What a treat to be back in Sunflower Street!

Lila and Ethan are preparing for two events: their wedding and their baby. With excitement mounting and lots of planning to be done in a short space of time, friends Roxie and Joanne offer all the help they can. Roxie and her husband, Fletcher, are enjoying summer with their two dogs whilst Joanne and her partner, Max have moved in together with their pair of cats but really want to find their own home. With a wedding to look forward to, spirits are high but then a stranger is reported in their midst.

I just adore this series! Written with Rachel Griffiths’ trademark warmth and understanding of human nature, this adds to the first four novellas and advances the story and, indeed, the relationships. What always makes me smile is the names of the pets – truly inspired! A wonderful story full of all the gorgeous wee details which pop up when a wedding is being organised and with a blip along the way – well, don’t most wedding come up against a blip somewhere? An absolutely superb, feel-good read and one which has warmed my soul after all the chilly days of late. Tremendously enjoyable and easily worth my recommendation and all five sparkling stars!

I purchased this novel on publication day; this is – as always – my honest, original and unbiased review.
