A Little Christmas Hope by Kathryn Freeman #BookReview #ChristmasWishes3 #BlogTour #OneMoreChapter #RachelsRandomResources #5*

Newly promoted head teacher Anna Dalton needs a Christmas miracle – and fast!

After years of sitting through excruciatingly dull Christmas productions, complete with crying children and sleeping parents, she’s determined Riddlescomb Primary School will put on a Nativity to remember.

Enter bad boy actor Dan Ramsey, recently axed from the lead role in a TV drama and in desperate need of cleaning up his image or he’ll never work again.

Dan can flash those heart-stopping dimples all he likes, Anna tells herself she isn’t going to fall for them. She knows why he’s decided to volunteer at the school, and it’s for the good of his bank balance…not his soul.

But as Anna and Dan are forced to work together for the sake of a truly magical Christmas for the children, sparks fly and they can’t help but wonder what will happen once the festive season is over…

Wonderfully Festive, Beautifully Written!

A truly gorgeous, happy tale guaranteed to lift anyone’s mood – and not just for the festive season!

Anna Dalton, Head Teacher, is desperate for an original production for her school; something which will be the talking point for both the kids and their parents and, more than anything, will be FUN! After successive years of dull and boring, she knows she needs a miracle. Daniel Ramsay, actor, recently axed from TV drama has been photographed too often in situations which aren’t benefitting his career one little bit, so his manager wants him to do something good to balance it all out. When Dan volunteers at the school, Anna is well aware of his reasons for doing so and she is determined not to succumb to his boyish charms and dazzling smile but there is no denying the spark between then. What will happen once the school Christmas show has been performed?

Love, love, LOVE this one! Beautifully written, pitched perfectly and definitely providing the goodwill so many of us are looking for at this time of year. The two main characters were ideally suited to the story; the children were the icing on the cake. Oh, how wonderful to be in the audience when the show was performed – so many giggles to be had! Everything about this hit the right note; the story, the writing, the practicalities, the humour and most of all, the incredible feel-good factor. I was completely unaware this was part of a series and it would be easy to go back and read the preceding two books as there is no harking back to what has gone before. A wonderful festive novel, easily earning all five sparkling stars!

My thanks to both the publisher for my copy and Rachel’s Random Resources for my spot on this tour; this is – as always – my honest, original and unbiased review.

Author Bio

A former pharmacist, I’m now a medical writer who also writes romance. Some days a racing heart is a medical condition, others it’s the reaction to a hunky hero.

I’ve two sons and a husband who asks every Valentine’s Day whether he has to buy a card (yes, he does), so any romance is all in my head. Then again, his unstinting support of my career change proves love isn’t always about hearts and flowers – and heroes come in many disguises.
