Four people are lured to a derelict warehouse on the promise of lucrative investments; when the arrive they realise that they are known to each other. The have previously met in court: two defendants, an inept defense attorney and a crooked prosecutor. Helping themselves to the sumptuous buffet laid out for them, they ponder on where their contact is – but they certainly did not expect what happened next!
This is a cracking read! Packed with excitement, bursting with suspense and uncertainty and guaranteed to keep you focused on the page until the very last word. Phew! This is an author who knows his craft – I have enjoyed this one so much than I have already downloaded his other book. Now I just need to slip it into my reading list. A remarkably exciting read and one I’m happy to give all five sparkling stars.
