Exciting & Gripping, but needs Editing! 
An incredible novel, especially for a debut, but it would really benefit from some sharp editing.
Alexandra Cassidy is very serious about her career with the FBI; she has a reputation for not kowtowing to the powers that be, but she does like to get results. Arriving in Arizona, she meets her new team and discovers that they are regarded as a bunch of misfits. However, working together they begin to clear up cases at an amazing rate – too amazing for Alexandra and she begins to get suspicious. What is going on? But, with things ramping up on the investigations, and connections being made between cases, Alexandra and her team have more than enough to be going on with.
This is a packed read and I would definitely like to read more from Mark Ravine. Exciting and gripping all the way through, I really did enjoy the novel but it was rather spoiled by the lack of editing. Nothing which affects the overall story, but it would turn this into a book I could recommend. I hope this evolves into a series with the current characters; I feel there is a lot more to know about each and every one of them. The way in which the different threads of the story amalgamate is very clever. However, with the issues I’ve discovered I can really only offer this one 3.5*.
