If you love all the colours of autumn, you’re sure to warm to this uplifting story of love, loss and starting over.

Primrose Wilkins arrived in Sunnybrook with a burning desire to find the family she’s never known. But after a heart-breaking false start, she’s beginning to have second thoughts. Can she find the courage to battle on in her quest? And with her romantic life at an all-time low, will meeting the intriguing and attractive Callum Davy be just what she needs to renew her faith in love?

Meanwhile, Fen is also finding it hard to be brave. She’s made it through to the final of TV show ‘Battle of the Bakes’ (thanks to Ellie entering on her behalf), but she’s always shied away from being in the spotlight.

How will Fen cope now that she’s a famous ‘celebrity’, recognised in the street everywhere she goes?

Engaging & Sparkling!    Stars 5

Another fabulous instalment in this gorgeous series and the best news is, there’s more to come!

Primrose is all alone in the world and hasn’t managed to trace any family yet; after one heart-breaking disappointment, can she bear to continue looking? When they all gather at the cafe to watch Fen taking part in a TV baking show, delivery man Sam brings along a male friend who seems to take a shine to Primrose; perhaps she could do with a little romance in her life? Despite working at the cafe and her friendships with colleagues there, she is spending far too much time either on her own or pouring out her woes to a little pup – surely there must be more to life?

Following on from Confetti at The Little Duck Pond Cafe, the story of Sunnybrook and it’s inhabitants continues almost seamlessly – beautifully written as always. This is a warm and satisfying read; a complete story within the continuing series, full of angst, worries, friendship, families, happiness and romance! I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one and the high standard has never faltered; each one leaves the reader with a sigh of contentment. I really must mention the stunning cover; this one is particularly eye-catching and, like the others in series is a sign of the wonderful tale to be found inside. An engaging and sparkling story, highly recommended and completely worth all five shiny stars!

My thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources for forwarding my copy and also for including me in this Blog Tour. As always, this is my honest, original and unbiased review.

Author Bio

A Bakery - Rosie Green Author Pic

Rosie Green has been scribbling stories ever since she was little. Back then they were rip-roaring adventure tales with a young heroine in perilous danger of falling off a cliff or being tied up by ‘the baddies’. Thankfully, Rosie has moved on somewhat, and now much prefers to write romantic comedies that melt your heart and make you smile, with really not much perilous danger involved at all, unless you count the heroine losing her heart in love.

Rosie’s brand new series of novellas is centred on life in a village cafe. Confetti at the Little Duck Pond Cafe will be the sixth in the series.
