Monthly Round-Up

Goodbye summer …

Some of you may still be enjoying warm autumnal days, but here in my wee corner of Scotland it’s much cooler. The mornings are a bit chilly and the fire is on in the evenings! Unfortunately, the days of lounging under the hot sun are just a memory, but cosying up in a warm home is just as nice!

This month, I have read and reviewed a total of twenty-six books, including my first Christmas novel of the year. I love a good festive read and have several more lurking in my tbr list, just waiting for me to reach them. A nice mix of reads this month, and choosing that one novel was no easier than previous months but a quick read through of blog posts jogged my memory and ‘All The Hidden Truths’ by Claire Askew is the one which, for me, was outstanding. My thanks to all authors for their wonderful writing.

I’ve enjoyed getting my reading rate up again, as well as launching my book cushions – check out that post if you need to buy gifts for fellow readers!

Thank you for joining me once again and, as always, happy reading!
